13 Years ago......
You thought I was going to put a picture of us 13 years ago right? I'll think about it. We had our 13th anniversary on the 29th. I cannot believe how fast time flies. Brett is the most amazing person. I cannot believe that he has been able to put up with me all these years. He is the best husband, the most patient, caring, loving dad, and he is actually just good at EVERYTHING he does. He has taught me so much! When I married him all those years ago I was totally head over heels in love, but I had no idea that my love would grow and grow and grow. In fact I had no idea how lucky I was, I just knew that I couldn't live without him. Still can't! He is the only "guy" I ever dated that my dad liked---really liked. My friends knew I was smitten after I dusted them (sorry Kelli!)to go out with him, but I was IN LOVE! It's funny after being married this long you really aren't complete without your other half. He is that other piece, even when sometimes I act like I can do it alone.....I can't.....and I quickly break down and realize I need him!
He got me these beautiful roses which was a welcome sight after all the snow we've had! I have so much I need to work on to be a better wife to him and I'm so grateful that he puts up with all my faults (which are many!). Here's to MANY more happy years to come. I LOVE YOU BRETT!

Actually Heather, while you are right about how lucky you are, He is the real lucky one. He struck it rich when he took advantage of the thin air in Logan and took you for a plane ride. From that point on, his life has improved day after day after day.
Congrats to both of you, but I stillthink that he is the winner!!

Heather, don't worry..I forgive you. You did leave me in the dust..but for a very good cause. I stil remember your wedding day. I drove down with you two and slept in the same room with you. Then,I got to see your beautiful face walk out of the temple. I will never forget it. I love ya Heather!! You will never know how much your friendship means to me!!
