Neighboorhood Fireworks

We love our neighboorhood so much. Every year everyone just pools whatever fireworks they have and we gather in front of our house and have a show. The kids love it! It's also nice because then you don't have to spend so much to get a good show. Everyone just buys a little and there you go. What a great place we live in!

Roger has been wanting to put a car in the cruise-in for years...well today was that year. He basically came home from his mission and started to work on this beauty. What a great job he did!

Fireworks 2010

We had a great time watching the fireworks this year. I thought they were amazing this year! The 4th of July is my favorite time of the year.

Kenna's Gym Party

We went straight from Ethan's Birthday party, to pick up dad (he made it home) then to a Gymnastics Party for McKenna. We had a great time. They had a DJ, did different contests, did Hula hoops, gave awards, etc. We love Airbound Parties!

This is Ethan's first "friend" Birthday party he has ever had. To be quite honest, I don't think he had ever even asked me to have one, but I did feel bad about it. Brett was with the YM backpacking, so I wanted to do something special for him. Wow, I guess when I decide to throw a party, I really go for it. Thank Heaven's for my sister, her husband, my friend Angie and Ressa. What was I thinking! All those boys at different swimming skills and I have to watch them all! AAHHH! Thank goodness Heidi and Joey took the smaller ones and I tried to help man the rest. I didn't even get in the water! Ethan did have a blast and so that made it worth it. We'll see if he asks for another party next year. I think he still believes that the fireworks for the 4th of July are for his birthday alone...ok maybe not...but he sure is easy to please. I can't believe my little miracle boy is 8!

BOATING.....

It was one of our first times going out boating. McKenna took her friend Paige. The water was really cold! McKenna tried skiing for the first time. At this time Maecee was still afraid of being on the boat unless I was holding her. She has finally gotten over that and now McKenna can ski!
