Kooky Maecee

Miss Maecee Mac!
Her new kitchen. Do you dig the snow boots, dress and cowboy hat. Classy huh?
OH I love this picture

Dancing like Grandpa Horsey

Princess Maecee

This girl is so kooky. She makes me laugh sooo hard. The second I get the camera out, she poses the funniest poses. The other day we were playing around and Ethan and I had our heads together. She said "oh cute, and used her hands as a pretend camera and went click" It was pretty funny!

Finally some good weather....

Good Weather is sometimes hard to find around these parts. This is April and it was a sunny day. The first things the kids want are the sprinklers on and to get wet! I don't blame them!

Grandma Shirleen and McKenna

Brett, Grandma and Me

Words cannot express how much I love my Grandma! I don't have many memories that she's not involved in somehow while I was growing up. She taught me to shop, be caring, have a positive attitude, etc. If I was sick at school and my mom wasn't available, I'd call my grandma. In fact I can think of two traumatic times that she was there. First, my parent's were gone and I was at Girls Camp. Well someone got homesick and had to come home in the middle of the night. Guess where I went....yep, Grandma's. Another time I had a little "run-in" with a Driver's Ed car. My parents were gone, so guess who I called...yep Grandma.
We would beg to sleep at her house. She took us to Little America just for fun! We would do jobs for her to earn money. She always threw the best parties, especially Christmas! Thinking of her rolls makes my mouth water. She would stock her refrigerator/freezer with every pop you can imagine, she'd buy frozen burritos from Taco Time so that there was always food for everyone. Her house was sooo much fun! She sees the best in everyone! I love you Grandma! Remember what I told you about staying here on Earth. My heart can't handle you leaving yet. So stay strong, keep exercising in your pool to keep strong, and let's keep talking so we can make each other laugh. Grandpa would like that! Ü

My dad, he's alot like his mom!

My Grandpa took a turn for the worse while we in California (Kenna and I). It was really sad that I couldn't be there but luckily I had stopped by Sunshine Terrace about 2 weeks before and gave him a hug and kiss. That was the last time I saw him. It definitely was time for him to go but it's still sad....it's so final. The funeral and everything was great. I wanted to include some pictures of him along with the funeral ones. I can't believe it's taken me this long to get them on here!
Probably my all time favorite picture of him!!

Grandpa and Brett. These two were serious buddies. My grandpa finally had someone to talk and obsess about sports together. We have great memories taking him to USU games. I got to know my Grandpa so much better when we had the PRIVILEGE of living with them while we built our house. I love you Grandpa!

Fun stuff McKenna and I found on the beach. It was so nice to see green and flowers there because back home it was depressing weather! We went for Spring Break April 8-11.

Another tricky spot

We had a great Easter Egg Hunt at Grandpa Horsey's house. It has a lot of good hiding places. The kids had a great time and we had good food, like always Ü The adults got to choose an egg out of a basket. One of the eggs had a $50 bill in it. I had McKenna choose mine. Guess which egg she choose? Great picking McKenna!
