More Catch Up....

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt
E.B. with his loot ;)

Coloring eggs. What a mess!

Maecee on the hunt for eggs. Actually she would just find one, open it, and eat the candy.

Here is the picture I was taking right before I started my chin on fire with a flaming marshmallow. It is a good picture though right?

Nothing like chocolate first thing in the morning.

The girlies with their sunglasses. Maecee is also blowing on a whistle pop.

This is what it looks like when we "talk" or "skype" with Elder and Sister Mac from Russia.

At Brett's Mom's Grave. After a picnic at Ryan's Place park we went to Elaine's Grave. She passed away 9 years ago. I cannot believe it has been that long!
I wanted a picture of the two of us....this is what I got. That's okay I still think it's cute!

Beaver Mountain Hill Climbs

More events from Spring Break Week
Beaver Mountain Hill Climbs
Our friend asked Ethan if he wanted to do the kids race and borrow his little snowmobile. Of course Ethan did and he was sooo excited!
Cory's friend Rusty raced and wrecked about half way up the mountain. Needless to say this is him coming down on the medical sled because he tore his knee up really bad! The thing he was most worried about though was having to call and tell his wife. She's pregnant and he didn't want to cause her anymore stress. He was also supposed to be at a baptism and wasn't, I guess he was jinxed to begin with :)

Austin and Eric. We stayed up there alot longer than we thought we would. Austin was being a trooper though.

Our Racer E.B.

Here he is on a very slow sled. He had to jump up and down on it to get it to go, pretty funny!

Here he is at the starting gate. That's Mckenna's best friend Hunter (in the blue coat) from gym, and her little brother (in the black and red) is the one that let Eth borrow his sled.
Austin and I pausing for a picture. The weather was so nice when we first got there you didn't even need a coat on, but then all the sudden it clouded up and starting hailing like crazy.

My brother Cory won the Amatuer Mod Locals class for the 3rd year in a row. It is so fun to watch him, but nerve racking. I yell, pace, move my body to the left and right and start shaking because I'm so nervous. I love it though. We're hoping he races "for reals" next year.

Aw isn't he cute? He's available---although not looking!!! Good Times!

More Spring Break Fun

Here are more pictures of our Spring Break events.....

Do you think McKenna likes her picture taken? Hah! She got mad at me for 1. taking more pictures of Maecee than her 2. Not posting her trampoline skills yet. So here ya go SIS!

Backyard golf is always fun! There's even a sand trap.

Wrestle time=someone starts to cry time
Yes were in their swimming suits running in the sprinklers. Can you tell we are ready for summer time?
Oh she is just too cute!

Baby Animal Days

Baby Animal Days 2009
We look forward to holding these tiny turtles every year. Although we found out after the fact that they are full of salmonella. YUCK!
Ethan being so careful with the turtles. This boy was such a stinker that day. I think people thought I was the meanest mom ever because I told him I was going to let him get lost. He was crying because he wanted to go jump on the bouncy house and I told him no because he was being a whiny baby. So he sat on a bench and glared at me....nice! It didn't help that it was sooooo crowded that day. You had to wait in line for everything....even to hold/touch the animals. It was Maecee's nap time too so I carried her while she was screaming and I yelled at Ethan from afar. Not one of my better parenting days. Later I asked Ethan why he was so naughty and he said, "I don't know mom, I was just out of control". He said it so grown up and matter of fact. I had to hold back my laugh.

Fina and Carson

Kenna and Maecee with the bunny. We stood in line for probably 30 minutes at least to hold them.

My cute kiddies! They were all happy for the moment.

There was a kiss the snake booth----yea right. I probably would have fainted from being so scared. Actually I didn't even get by them...they are freaky! But I will kiss I chicky! It would have been just my luck though to have it bite my lip :)

Ethan loves animals so much. He is so natural with them. I think it's so cute.

McKenna being scared to hold a bunny (she's not so natural with animals). I also put this on for Christina so she could see Carson pulling the bunnies ears.

Whew she actually held one.
Next year if we try to go to this again and see that the cars are parked out to the highway, we will come back another day. WAY too many people. I've never seen it as busy as the day we went...go figure. More spring break fun to come, we did alot!

More funeral pictures for the people who couldn't make it
Trying to entertain ourselves!

McKenna and Gran

Aunt Rizzo and I

Ethan and McKenna (Maecee was asleep in the car) by the Lundstrom grave (Mudda's name is on their and now Grandfather's will be added)

Auntie A and Mommy

Graveside Service for Harold Lundstrom

My Great Grandpa

My mom's grandpa passed away so we went to the Graveside service in Salt Lake with her.

My mommy with her sisters. Pam (aka Rizzo), Nikcy (aka youngest, spoiled one--ha), Jan (aka mommy), Andrea (aka Auntie A), and Elissa (aka Gran)

This is my aunt, which is really more like a cousin because we're just over a year apart. It was sooo good to see her. It's been a long time!

We decided to stay at The Little America hotel because that's where everyone was staying. I had promised to take my kiddies to Salt Lake over spring break.....so I guess a funeral counts? No really we did have a good time. We went swimming in their awesome indoor/outdoor pool, sat in the hot tub, and the kiddies went crazy playing in the hotel room (in fact the next room over came and asked us to be quiet. OOPS!) That's what happens when there are 5 kids and 2 adults in a small room ;) I have such great memories of Little America because my grandma Shirleen used to take my cousins and I there a lot, to swim/shop/eat and it was like being young again. I love my grandma! A weird thing that happened was we got a call at 3:00 am from the front desk asking if we had lost a child. They had a little boy that was at the front desk and didn't know where he belonged. I'm guessing that they called every room with kids? They called again at 4:15 am too. Weird!

I think almost every picture I have of Nikcy she is sticking her tongue out.

The two crazy boys. Considering the circumstances we had a good time. I have more pictures so stay tuned.

This is for the girls......

This is our group that went to the Draper Temple open house. I love all these girls! They are amazing! I don't love that I look like a moose in these pictures, but what do you do. I need to shed my winter poundage :) I've kind of been in hibernation mode, bad winter!
Anyways....we had a great time going to the open house and then we went to Gardner Village to eat and shop. We are all going down again in May to see the Joseph Smith Movie, walk around Temple Square, eat and probably shop some more! I cannot wait! Is it May yet?

**I should add that it's our ward that's going down in May so ANYONE that wants to come is invited! That means you Heather P., Des, Emily, Rose and whoever else reads this :)

Watching Conference....

The kiddies (okay minus McKenna, she "listened" on the radio) watching conference and working on their "packet".

I walked downstairs during one of the sessions and Ethan was down there alone watching conference. What a good boy.

Stickers and other entertainment.
Brett and I and his brother and girlfriend got to go to the afternoon Sunday session. It was awesome! I love conference time. I actually recorded 3 of the sessions because we had company over and so I didn't really get to hear most of it (except for the one session we went to). I have to sit, watch, and take notes or my ADD mind can't focus :) Good stuff!
