Trampoline

We haven't had the best luck with trampolines. Our first one was actually amazing. It was the one we had at my house growing up. It lasted years and years. Then it gave out.....and I mean gave out! A certain someone went straight thru to the ground. So we chalked that tramp up to lots of years of great use and bought a new one. It lasted maybe one year......

The end of the summer last year springs started to fly off. It was actually pretty scary because you never knew when they would fly off or where they would land. But the sad news is that I KNEW Brett wouldn't let me buy a new one. So our broken tramp is up and the kids still jump on it.

Probably not the safest thing.....

But now we are shouting for joy!! Last night Brett and I went to the good old SFW banquet with my family. You get (well buy) a bunch of tickets for the different drawings they have. There are fun things, girlie things (hair stuff, tupperware, home decor, foot zones, massages) and weird things that I wouldn't really use like meat saws, horse feed, dog food, gun covers, guns, arrows, hunting things! But they also throw in some really cool stuff like a 4 wheeler, or let's say a TRAMPOLINE! It was my night last night because I won a queen airbed mattress, a bunch of hair products with a CHI included, oh yea and a TRAMPOLINE! It will be a good summer now! Brett said "you know you're a redneck when you have to have a dolly to haul off your winnings". Until next year...

The tongue and Maecee's Kucky Blanket....two constants on this trip Ü

Oh Maecee. She is sooo hilarious! She had everyone cracking up. On the airplane ride to San Diego she looked out the window and said "this is amazing". Then when they were telling her to get her seatbelt on (in the plane) she said "where my friekin seatbelt". I have no idea where she's heard that before. On the airplane ride home she dropped her doll as we were getting on the plane (went straight down onto the ground). The stewardess was really cute and had the pilot go pick it up. Everyone that was around us kept asking for updates on the doll. When they returned it to her, they all cheered. Kylie told her to do the splits while we were sitting in the hot tub. Maecee said "I can't I will drownded". This trip I was also talked into the fact that I need to put her in gym...Here we go again :)
Can we move here?
La Jolla

The tongue, the blanket. This is a little area you can walk out on and watch the seals that are having babies. It was beautiful!
Mom and Son
My mom came with us. It's been her dream to go to San Diego.

Lexi and Kenna

There was a team there from Canada. It was neat because the Olympics were going on during the meet. My grandparents came from Arizona to watch. My grandpa worked on Lexi's back because she was having problems. Then grandpa gave McKenna $20 for making her giants (she made it the second time around). She also received her first medal for Level 7. The prize I took home was I won an Ipod Shuffle. I entered a raffle and won. McKenna said I did the dorkiest dance when I found out I won...she almost didn't claim me as her parent Ü
Her scores were Vault: 8.8, Bars 7.475 (she fell her 1st try doing the giants) Beam: 8.675, Floor 8.55. This was an improvement from her prior two meets so we were happy.

Oops, loaded the wrong way. This was by the naval ship.

Ahhhhhh...

Picture Perfect

Gran and Grandpa with McKenna. They came from Arizona. It was good to see them and so nice of them to make that drive.

What gymnasts do on the beach

AHHH so beautiful!
We saw dolphins right here! I didn't ever get a picture but I was really excited. In fact the whole trip my 3 sayings were 1. I can't believe we saw dolphins 2. I can't believe how hard it is to climb out of those pits (all the moms jumped in after the girls practiced at a gym right by this beach). Thank goodness Brett was there to pull all of us out! 3. I can't believe I won an Ipod Shuffle!!!!!!
I apologize for the way these pictures loaded. I'm trying not to have anxiety about it. They are sooo not in order. So I'm moving onto post #2 because I'm getting a little too ADD on this one.

Beaver Mountain Skiing #2

The Gunnell's were nice enough to invite us to go skiing. We had a great time. There was a lot more snow this time so Ethan had a harder time. He thought he could ski in the powder. He kept sinking and getting sooo mad! Of course it was my fault too. I tried to help him (which could have been a bad predicament knowing my track record) but he just got mad at me. So guess what he did the next time up. He totally dusted me. He told me to go in front of him and then turned a different way and speed off. RUDE!
The only pic I got of McKenna and she was ummm headed to the bathroom Ü

(There's more these are just the ones that are easy to find)

And the event they look forward to all year long is The SFW Banquet. It's like Christmas! My dad planned his surgery around it. Ya buddy!
Let's go slide down the ruf and land in that there crick.
Make sure that when you get pulled over you let the officer know if your packin' or not.
How was huntin' this year?
Ya been sleddin' yet? Oh you went up Prov? Set off any avalanches?
What hunt did you draw on this year?
Where you been huntin'? Oh ya know that hill called none of friekin' business? People even try to trick me into telling them where my family is? My answer will be "ya know that hill called none of your friekin' business" that's the one, see ya there! (Caileb tells people they are hunting at no tell em ridge)
When we eat steaks/burgers etc you ask if it's elk, deer or beef! YUCK!
Okay I do make fun of them but I love it too! Proud to be a redneck Ü
P.S. I cannot reveal the reason I was looking up my dad's name, although it is pretty funny!
