Every 24th of July we go to all the festivities at Willow Park. There is a fun run in the morning, a big breakfast, booths, and a parade. We usually end up at the pool at the end of the day. Both McKenna and Ethan ran in the race. Ethan did the mile and McKenna did the 5k. One thing I thought was so cute was when a bunch of runners that had run the 5k had already come in Ethan couldn't stop looking for McKenna. He kept asking me what color of shirt she had on and he was really intent on finding her. He was really excited when we saw her coming for the finish line, which is of course where he was waiting to give her a High 5. It was cute. I was proud of my little runners.
