Our team took 3rd place!

I keep meaning to update about McKenna's last gym meet in St. George but something is always getting in the way. I did finally get DSL instead of dialup for my internet which is heavenly!!!

Okay so here are her scores from the meet. Vault score was 8.0 5th place, Bars score was 9.0 3rd place (I got to watch her this time and she was awesome!), Beam was 8.4 4th place and Floor was 8.75 3rd place with an All Around score of 34.15 (4th place overall). Our session was in the afternoon and we were with the Level 4 team from Airbound too. It was fun to get to watch them compete but I also learned alot. In level 4 the judging is easier because there aren't so many requirements and deductions they can give you. That's why when the level 4's would go and they could easily get a 9.0 or higher, but then you watch level 5's go and their routines are more advanced and complicated and then they'll get an 8? But I am learning as we go and loving watching McKenna progress! It's very tricky though trying to keep Maecee entertained that whole time and watch everything.

We did get to enjoy a little sun and swim in the pool with the kiddies and socializing with the Airbound crew. Besides that drive, it was a good yet quick trip!

We are off to Ogden this weekend to the next meet. That is after Eth's soccer game! Busy times!
